Hello!
I'm Moony, bringing in my three current muses: Armand, from the Vampire Chronicles, Dinah, from Bizenghast, and Vanyel, from the Heralds of Valdemar books, with an eye toward potentially dusting off some old ones and bringing them in at some point maybe.
I have permissions posts up for all three - Dinah's is just a general 'what I will/won't play with this muse' but for Armand and Vanyel... they have psychic powers and chances are that's going to come up at some point. Also, Armand is a vampire and there's pretty much nobody he won't chew on, given the chance. So please drop a note if you don't want your muses chewed on or having their minds read.
-Armand's Permissions
-Vanyel's Permissions -- though he's not as likely to just go poking into people's heads for fun, as explained in the post there.

I've hit up your permissions posts with everyone but the two Yugis, so hopefully those're okay!

Aaaaaah, season 0! /flails
Yu-Gi-Oh! Volume 1 was the first manga I ever bought, and the series in general was kind of my gateway into wider anime fandom, so /squee
And actually, as far as Dark Yugi goes... I think it might be fun to pit Armand against the soul-maze of doom >.>no subject
He is welcome to try if he really wants hahaha Dark Yugi'll just chill in the corner and make fun of him.Yeah, I'm really fond of most everything about it. I loved the darker Shadow Games and the more sadistic Dark Yugi, soooo.

I'm picturing it as the inevitable consequence for poking at him with the Mind Gift one too many times, tbh. Because Armand can always stand to have his ego deflated xDI'd started watching the anime before I got my hands on the manga so the darker tone... surprised me, a little, but once I got over that I was totally on-board with it.

Armand is going to be the first one to trigger a Shadow Game proper, I just know it.Yeah, the sudden shift can be eerie. But that's why I love it. Dark Yugi is a genuine, terrifying threat, but he's one that you empathize with, because he's just trying to protect his host and his friends.

I would not be even slightly surprised.Mm, that's one of the most interesting aspects of the manga versus the anime - Dark Yugi starts off not being all that different from Dark Bakura, in his actions, and Yugi's influence is what humanizes him.
(Although, now that I think about it, Dark Yugi's intentions are nobler than Dark Bakura's ever were, even in the very beginning.)

Might wanna fill out the permissions then in case orzDark Yugi was, to me, a judge who was not neutral. While he's not YUGI Yugi, he himself still is, at the least, Yugi, and sees himself as such. Therefore, because his "lighter personality" can't handle it, he, the "darker" one, must make them pay.
But you see, that's the thing. Yugi is an innocent soul, and his friends are ones who have flocked to protect him. They, through Yugi, are innocent as well. And so, Dark Yugi is giving judgment as if these people had treaded upon purity itself; this is why his games are so harsh. A pure, innocent being who has done nothing or those who have been redeemed by him, they should not be spoiled by the harsh abuse of life.
...I got kinda poetic there, uh. Essentially, it boils down to, in my headcanon, Dark Yugi thinking "Yeah you assholes just beat up my pure side so now my dark side is coming after you." Since he's awake whenever Yugi is, I also get the feeling that Yugi's darker emotions are felt to him too, even if Yugi doesn't act on them, so he feels obligated to do so.
Just combine those and his...
